# How to Animate on Google Slides

Animate elements in Google Slides to make your presentation dynamic. Follow these steps to add motion effects.

1. Open your Google Slides presentation and select the **object** (text, image, or shape) you want to animate.
2. Click on **"Insert"** in the top menu and select **"Animation"**, or right-click the object and choose **"Animate"**.
3. In the **Motion** panel on the right, click **"Add animation"**.
4. Choose an **animation type** (e.g., fade in, fly in, zoom).
5. Adjust the **animation settings**, such as start condition (**on click, after previous, or with previous**) and speed.
6. Add more animations if needed by clicking **"Add animation"** again.
7. Click **"Play"** in the Motion panel to preview your animations.
