# How to Change Name on Zoom

This guide provides a detailed step-by-step walkthrough on how to change your name on Zoom. Follow each step carefully to successfully update your Zoom profile name.

1. **Open Zoom App or Website** – Sign in at [zoom.us](https://zoom.us/) or open the Zoom Desktop/Mobile App.
2. **Go to Profile (Website)** – If you're on the browser, click your profile picture (top-right) → Select **“Profile”** from the menu.
3. **Click “Edit” Next to Your Name** – On your profile page, click **“Edit”** next to your name.
4. **Enter New Name** – Change your **First Name** and **Last Name** as you like.
5. **Click “Save Changes”** – Your Zoom display name is now updated for all future meetings.
6. **Change Name During Meeting (Desktop)**:
   
      - Click **“Participants”**
      - Hover over your name → Click **“More” > “Rename”**
      - Enter the new name → Click **“OK”**
7. **On Mobile (iOS/Android)**:
   
      - Tap **“Participants” > Your Name > Rename**
      - Enter the new name and tap **“Done”**
8. **Done** – Your name is now updated and visible to everyone in the meeting or on your profile.
