# How to Change Your Zoom Profile Picture

This guide will walk you through the steps to change your profile picture on Zoom. Follow these steps to update your Zoom profile with a new photo.

1. **Open Zoom Website** – Go to [zoom.us](https://zoom.us/) in your browser and **log in** to your Zoom account.
2. **Click on “My Account”** – In the top-right corner, click your profile icon or name, then select **“My Account.”**
3. **Go to Profile Section** – On the left-hand sidebar, click on **“Profile”** to open your Zoom profile settings.
4. **Hover Over Your Current Picture** – Move your mouse over your existing profile picture (or the default icon) and click the small **pencil/edit icon**.
5. **Click “Change” or “Upload”** – A popup will appear. Click **“Change”** or **“Upload”** to select a new image from your computer.
6. **Select & Crop Image** – Choose your new picture (JPG/PNG format), then **adjust or crop** it if needed and click **Save**.
7. **Wait for Update** – Your new profile picture will now appear in meetings, participant list, and your Zoom profile.
8. **Restart Zoom App (Optional)** – If it doesn’t update immediately in the Zoom desktop app, **restart the app** to see the change.
