# How to Clip Content in Figma

This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of clipping content in Figma. Follow these instructions to easily clip content within your Figma design projects.

1. **Open Your Figma File** – Launch Figma and open the design file where you want to clip content.
2. **Select a Frame** – Choose the frame that contains the elements you want to clip.
3. **Place Elements Inside the Frame** – Drag and drop the elements into the frame so they become its children in the Layers panel.
4. **Enable Clip Content** – With the frame selected, go to the right-hand panel and toggle on **Clip content**.
5. **Adjust Frame Size** – Resize the frame to define the visible area — anything outside this area will be hidden.
6. **Preview the Result** – Only the part of the content inside the frame boundaries will be visible now.
