# How to Comment in Figma

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to add comments within a Figma project. Follow these simple steps to effectively communicate your thoughts and feedback on designs.

1. **Open Your Figma File** – Launch Figma and open the design file where you want to add comments.
2. **Select the Comment Tool** – Click on the **comment icon** (speech bubble) in the top-right corner, or press `C` on your keyboard.
3. **Click Anywhere to Comment** – Click on the specific area of the design where you want to leave a comment.
4. **Type Your Comment** – Write your feedback or message in the text box that appears.
5. **Tag Team Members (Optional)** – Use `@` followed by their name or email to mention someone directly in the comment.
6. **Post the Comment** – Hit the “Post” button or press `Enter` to submit your comment.
7. **View & Reply to Comments** – Click on any comment to view it. Use the reply box below it to respond or clarify.
8. **Resolve a Comment** – Once the issue is addressed, click the “✔️ Resolve” button to mark it as complete.
9. **Done** – Your comments are now visible to collaborators and help streamline feedback.
