# How to Delete a Zoom Account

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to permanently delete your Zoom account. Follow these steps to ensure your account is properly terminated.

1. **Open Your Browser** – Launch any web browser on your laptop or desktop (Zoom account deletion can’t be done via the mobile app).
2. **Go to Zoom Website** – Visit [zoom.us](https://zoom.us/) and log in using your Zoom account credentials.
3. **Access Your Profile Settings** – After logging in, click on your profile picture in the top-right corner and select **“Account Management”** (or just go to zoom.us/profile).
4. **Navigate to Account Management** – From the left sidebar, click on **“Account Management”** and then select **“Account Profile.”**
5. **Click “Terminate My Account”** – On the Account Profile page, you’ll see the option **“Terminate My Account”** at the bottom. Click on it.
6. **Confirm Deletion** – A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click **“Yes”** to confirm you want to permanently delete your Zoom account.
7. **Account Deleted Message** – You’ll be logged out, and a message will appear confirming your Zoom account has been successfully deleted.
8. **Done** – Your Zoom account is now permanently removed. You won’t be able to sign in again unless you create a new account.
