# How to Delete Your HubSpot Account

Follow these step-by-step instructions to permanently delete your HubSpot account. Make sure you are logged in to your HubSpot account before beginning.

1. **Log in to HubSpot** – Go to [hubspot.com](https://www.hubspot.com/) and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. **Go to Settings** – Click the **gear icon (⚙️)** in the top-right corner of your HubSpot dashboard.
3. **Navigate to Account Settings** – In the left sidebar, scroll down and click on **“Account Settings.”**
4. **Open “Danger Zone”** – Scroll down to the section labeled **“Danger zone”** or search **“Delete account”** in the search bar.
5. **Click “Delete Account”** – Click the **“Delete account”** button to begin the deletion process.
6. **Confirm with Password** – Enter your **HubSpot account password** to confirm you’re the owner and authorize deletion.
7. **Final Confirmation** – Read the warning message and click **“Yes, delete”** to finalize.
8. **Done – Account Deleted** – You’ll be logged out, and the account will be permanently deleted. You’ll also receive a confirmation email.
