# How to Disable the Waiting Room in Zoom

This guide provides a step-by-step process for disabling the Waiting Room feature in Zoom to streamline the meeting entry process for your participants.

1. **Go to Zoom Website** – Open your browser and visit [zoom.us](https://zoom.us/), then **log in** to your Zoom account.
2. **Access Settings** – After logging in, click on **“My Account”** (top-right), then from the left sidebar, go to **“Settings.”**
3. **Navigate to “Security” Tab** – Under Settings, find and click on the **“Security”** tab where the Waiting Room option is listed.
4. **Scroll to “Waiting Room”** – Scroll down until you see the **“Waiting Room”** setting.
5. **Turn Off the Toggle** – If it’s enabled, you’ll see a blue switch. Click it to **turn off** the Waiting Room feature.
6. **Confirm if Asked** – Zoom may ask you to confirm the change. Click **“Turn Off”** to proceed.
7. **Applies to Future Meetings** – This change will **apply to all future meetings** unless overridden manually in individual meeting settings.
8. **Optional: Disable Per Meeting** – When scheduling a new meeting, scroll to **Security options**, and simply **uncheck “Waiting Room.”**
