# How to Download Figma File

This guide provides a step-by-step process on how to download a Figma file. Follow these simple steps to easily export your design files from Figma.

1. **Open Your Figma File** – Navigate to the file you want to download.
2. **Click on the Figma Logo (Top Left)** – This opens the main menu.
3. **Hover over “File”** – A submenu will appear.
4. **Select “Save local copy…” or “Download as .fig”** – This lets you download the editable Figma file.
5. **Choose Location** – Your browser will prompt you to choose a save location.
6. **Confirm Download** – Click save to download the `.fig` file to your computer.
7. **Done** – You can now import this file into another Figma workspace if needed.
