# How to Download Zoom Recording

Follow these step-by-step instructions to download your Zoom meeting recordings from your Zoom account.

1. For **Cloud Recordings** (Zoom Pro or higher):🖥️ For **Local Recordings** (Free plan users):
   
      1. **Go to Zoom Website** – Open [zoom.us](https://zoom.us/) and sign in to your account.
      2. **Click on “Recordings”** – From the left-hand menu, go to **“My Recordings” > “Cloud Recordings”**.
      3. **Select the Recording** – Find the meeting whose recording you want to download and click on the **Topic**.
      4. **View Recording Files** – You’ll see video, audio, and chat files listed.
      5. **Click the Download Icon** – Hit the **download arrow** next to the file(s) you want to save.
      6. **Save to Your Device** – The recording will be saved to your **Downloads folder** (or wherever your browser saves files).
      7. **Open Zoom Desktop App** – Go to the **“Meetings” tab > “Recorded”** section.
      8. **Click “Open” to Locate the File** – Click **“Open”** next to your recorded meeting, and it will open the folder where the file is stored. From here, you can **copy or move the file** anywhere.
