# How To Highlight Duplicates In Google Sheets

1. Open **Google Sheets** and select the range where you want to find duplicates.
2. Click on **Format** > **Conditional formatting** from the menu.
3. In the **Format cells if** dropdown, choose **Custom formula is**.
4. Enter the formula: `=COUNTIF(A:A, A1) > 1` (replace `A:A` with your column range).
5. Choose a **highlight color** under the Formatting style.
6. Click **Done**, and duplicates will be highlighted automatically.
