# How to Join Zoom Meeting

This guide provides a step-by-step process to join a Zoom meeting. Follow these instructions to successfully enter a Zoom session.

1. **Open Zoom App or Website** – Launch the **Zoom Desktop App**, **Mobile App**, or visit zoom.us/join.
2. **Click on “Join a Meeting”** – No need to sign in; just click **“Join a Meeting”** on the home screen.
3. **Enter Meeting ID** – Type the **Meeting ID** you received from the host.
4. **Enter Your Name** – Add your display name that others will see in the meeting.
5. **Choose Audio/Video Preferences** – Before joining, you can choose:
   
      - Turn video **on/off**
      - Mute mic before entry
6. **Enter Passcode (if asked)** – If the host enabled a **passcode**, Zoom will ask for it before entering.
7. **Click “Join”** – Tap the **blue “Join” button**, and you’ll enter the meeting room.
8. **Done** – You’re now in the Zoom meeting and ready to talk, listen, or just chill on mute 🎧
