# How to Make Figma Dark Mode

Follow these steps to switch Figma to dark mode for a more comfortable viewing experience, especially in low-light environments.

1. **Open Figma App or Web**
   – Launch Figma on desktop or go to [figma.com](https://figma.com/).
2. **Click Your Profile Icon**
   – Located at the top-right corner of the screen.
3. **Select "Theme" or "Preferences"**
   – From the dropdown menu, click on **Theme** (in the app) or go to **Preferences > Theme**.
4. **Choose "Dark"**
   – You’ll see options: Light, Dark, and System.
   – Click **Dark** to instantly switch.
5. **Using System Theme (Optional)**
