# How to Merge Companies in HubSpot

1. **Log in to HubSpot** – Go to [hubspot.com](https://www.hubspot.com/) and sign in with your credentials.
2. **Navigate to Companies** – From the top menu, click on **“Contacts”** > **“Companies”** to view your company records.
3. **Search the Primary Company** – Use the search bar to find the company record you want to keep as the **primary**.
4. **Open Company Profile** – Click on the company name to open its profile. This will be the main record after merging.
5. **Click “Actions”** – In the top-right corner of the company profile, click on the **“Actions”** dropdown.
6. **Select “Merge”** – Choose **“Merge”** from the dropdown menu options.
7. **Find the Duplicate Company** – Search and select the duplicate company you want to merge into the primary one.
8. **Confirm the Merge** – Click **“Merge”** to finalize. HubSpot will combine both records, keeping the primary one’s data as default.
