# How to Mute Someone on LinkedIn

Easily manage your LinkedIn feed by muting unwanted connections. Stay focused on important updates without unfollowing or disconnecting.

1. Navigate to the profile or post of the person you want to mute.
2. If they recently posted something, click the three-dot menu at the top right of their post.
3. From the dropdown, select “Mute [person’s name]” to stop seeing their posts in your feed.
4. If you want to mute messages, go to your inbox, open the conversation, and click the three-dot menu at the top.
5. Select “Mute conversation” to stop receiving notifications for messages from this person.
6. You can unmute them later by going to the same menu and selecting “Unmute.”
