# How to Share Audio on Zoom

This guide will walk you through the steps to share audio during a Zoom meeting. Follow each step carefully to ensure you can share audio seamlessly.

1. **Start or Join a Zoom Meeting** – Open the Zoom app and enter your meeting.
2. **Click on “Share Screen”** – Tap the **green “Share Screen”** button on the bottom toolbar.
3. **Select What You Want to Share** – Choose:
   
      - **Your entire screen**, or
      - A specific **window or tab**
4. **Enable “Share Sound” Option** –
   
      - At the **bottom-left** of the screen share window, check the box that says **“Share sound”**
      - On Mac, you might need to give permission first in **System Preferences**
5. **Choose “Optimize for Video Clip” (Optional)** – If you're sharing a video, also tick **“Optimize for video clip”** for smoother playback.
6. **Click the “Share” Button** – Once everything is selected, hit the **blue “Share”** button.
7. **Audio Will Now Play for Everyone** – Any sound from your system (music, video, etc.) will now be heard by all participants.
8. **Done** – To stop sharing audio, click **“Stop Share”** on the top toolbar.
