# How to Ungroup on Canva

Easily separate elements in your Canva design by ungrouping them. Follow these simple steps to regain control of your layout and customize it further.

1. Open your Canva project and select the grouped elements you want to ungroup.
2. Click on the “Ungroup” button in the toolbar at the top of the screen, or right-click and select “Ungroup” from the context menu.
3. Adjust each element individually to reposition or resize them as needed for your design.
4. Group specific elements back together by selecting them and clicking the “Group” button if necessary.
5. Save your changes to maintain the ungrouped layout.
