# How to View Zoom Recording

This guide will show you step-by-step instructions on how to access and view your Zoom recordings through the Zoom web portal.

1. **Open Zoom App or Website** – Launch the **Zoom desktop app** or go to [zoom.us](https://zoom.us/) and **sign in** to your account.
2. **Go to “Meetings” Tab (App)** – In the desktop app, click on **“Meetings”** from the top menu, then go to the **“Recorded”** tab.
3. **Go to “Recordings” Tab (Website)** – On the Zoom website, click on **“My Account” → “Recordings”** in the left sidebar.
4. **Choose Local or Cloud Recordings** – If you recorded to the cloud, it’ll show under **Cloud Recordings**. If local, you’ll see them in the **Zoom app** under Recorded.
5. **Click the Meeting Title** – Find the meeting you want to view, then click its **title** to expand the details.
6. **View Recording Files** – You’ll see different files like **video (MP4)**, **audio (M4A)**, or **chat (TXT)** depending on what was recorded.
7. **Click “Play” or “Download”** – Click the **Play button** to stream it online or **Download** to save it offline.
8. **Share If Needed** – You can also **copy the link** to share the recording (if cloud-based) with participants via email or chat.
