Easily remove unwanted projects in Asana to streamline your workspace. Follow these simple steps to ensure a clean project management experience.

  1. Open the project you wish to delete by selecting it from the project list or the search bar.

  2. Click on the three-dot menu (ellipsis) in the top-right corner of the project view to access the project settings.

  3. Select “Edit Project Details” or the equivalent option to open the project’s details panel.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the details panel and look for the “Delete Project” option.

  5. Confirm the deletion in the pop-up window by typing the project’s name and clicking “Delete” to permanently remove the project.

  6. Note that only project owners or users with sufficient permissions can delete a project in Asana.
