How to Get Notifications from
Google Forms
Open Google Forms – Go to Google Forms and open the form you want to receive notifications for.
Go to Responses Tab – Click on the “Responses” tab at the top of the form.
Open Google Sheets – Click the Google Sheets icon 📄 to link your form responses to a spreadsheet (if not already linked).
Enable Notifications in Google Sheets –
In the linked Google Sheet, click “Tools” in the menu bar.
Select “Notification rules” from the dropdown.
Click “Add a notification rule” to set up email alerts.
Choose Notification Settings –
Select “Any changes are made” or “A user submits a form” based on your preference.
Choose whether you want immediate notifications or a daily summary.
Save and Enable Notifications – Click “Save”, then “Done” to activate email alerts.
Test the Setup – Submit a test response to verify if notifications are being sent to your email.
