How to Create Zoom Meeting Link

This guide will walk you through the steps to create and share a Zoom meeting link. Follow these instructions to easily set up and distribute your Zoom meeting details.

  1. Open Zoom App or Website – Sign in to the Zoom Desktop App or go to zoom.us in your browser.

  2. Click on “Schedule” or “New Meeting”

    • Click “New Meeting” for instant meeting

    • Or click “Schedule” to set a meeting for later

  3. Set Meeting Details – Add topic, time, duration, and other settings like passcode, waiting room, etc.

  4. Click “Schedule” or “Start”

    • For scheduled meetings, hit “Schedule”

    • For instant meetings, hit “Start”

  5. Copy Invitation Link – Once meeting starts or is scheduled, click “Copy Invitation” or “Copy Link”

  6. Share the Link – Paste and send the link via WhatsApp, email, Slack, or wherever your participants are.

  7. Use Personal Meeting ID (Optional) – You can use your permanent PMI link from Profile > Personal Meeting ID if you want a reusable Zoom link.

  8. Done – Your Zoom meeting link is live and ready to share! Participants can join with a click.
