How to Join a Zoom Meeting

Follow these step-by-step instructions to successfully join a Zoom meeting. Each step will guide you through the process, ensuring you can connect to your meeting smoothly.

1. Open Zoom App or Browser – Launch the Zoom app on your device or go to zoom.us/join in your browser.

2. Click on “Join a Meeting” – On the app home screen or website, click the “Join a Meeting” button.

3. Enter Meeting ID – Type the Meeting ID (usually a 9–11 digit number) provided by the host.

4. Enter Your Name – Type the name you want to display during the meeting.

5. Enable/Disable Audio & Video – Before joining, you can choose to mute your mic or turn off your camera.

6. Click “Join” – Tap or click the “Join” button to proceed.

7. Enter Passcode (if required) – If the meeting is password-protected, you’ll be prompted to enter the passcode.

8. Wait for Host (if enabled) – If the Waiting Room is on, wait for the host to admit you, otherwise you’ll join directly.
