This guide will walk you through the steps to join a Zoom meeting using a link. Follow these instructions to seamlessly connect to your Zoom meeting.

  1. Find the Zoom Link – The host will send you a meeting link via email, WhatsApp, message, or calendar invite. It looks like: https://zoom.us/j/xxxxxxxxxxx.

  2. Click the Link – Just tap or click on the Zoom meeting link from your device or browser.

  3. Zoom App Will Open – If Zoom is already installed, it will launch automatically. Otherwise, you’ll be prompted to download the app.

  4. Join from Browser (Optional) – If you don’t want to install Zoom, click “Join from your browser” when prompted (if enabled by host).

  5. Enter Your Name – Type your name as you want it to appear in the meeting, especially if you’re not signed in to Zoom.

  6. Allow Permissions – Grant access to your camera and microphone if asked, so others can see/hear you.

  7. Wait for Host to Admit You – If the meeting has a waiting room, you’ll see a message saying “Please wait, the meeting host will let you in soon.”

  8. You’re In! – Once admitted, you'll be in the Zoom meeting — ready to participate, view, or listen.
