How to Zoom Out in Excel
This guide will walk you through the steps to zoom out in Excel, allowing you to see more of your spreadsheet data at once.
- Open Microsoft Excel – Launch the Excel application and open any workbook where you want to zoom out. 
- Look at the Bottom Right Corner – On the bottom-right side of the Excel window, you’ll see a zoom slider with a minus (-) and plus (+) sign. 
- Use the Zoom Slider – Drag the slider to the left or click the minus (-) sign to zoom out gradually. 
- Click Zoom Percentage – You can also click on the zoom percentage number (e.g., 100%) shown near the slider. 
- Choose a Lower Zoom Level – A Zoom dialog box will appear. Select a lower zoom level like 75%, 50%, or 25% and click OK. 
- Use Keyboard Shortcut (Optional) – Press Ctrl + Mouse Scroll Down to zoom out quickly using your mouse scroll wheel. 
- Use the View Tab – Go to the “View” tab on the top ribbon, then click on the “Zoom” button. 
- Adjust Zoom From There – Select your preferred zoom percentage in the pop-up and apply it to zoom out the worksheet.
