How to Zoom In on Google Docs

This guide will help you learn how to zoom in on a document in Google Docs. Follow the steps below to adjust the zoom level to your preference.

  1. Access the zoom controls - Look for the zoom percentage display in the top-right corner of your Google Docs window, typically showing "100%".

  2. Click the percentage - Select the current zoom percentage to open a dropdown menu of zoom options.

  3. Choose a higher percentage - Select a larger percentage like 125%, 150%, or 200% to zoom in on your document.

  4. Use keyboard shortcuts - Press Ctrl and + (plus) on Windows or Command and + (plus) on Mac to zoom in incrementally.

  5. Try browser shortcuts - Alternatively, use the browser's zoom function by pressing Ctrl and + (Windows) or Command and + (Mac) which zooms the entire page.

  6. Use touchpad gestures - On laptops, pinch outward with two fingers on your touchpad to zoom in (if your device supports this gesture).
