How to Insert a GIF Into Google Slides

Insert a GIF into Google Slides to add movement to your slides. Follow these steps to enhance your presentation with animations.

  1. Open your Google Slides presentation and select the slide where you want to add the GIF.

  2. Click "Insert" in the top menu and select "Image".

  3. Choose one of the following options to upload your GIF: 1) Upload from computer: Select "Upload from computer" and choose the GIF file. 2) By URL: Click "By URL", paste the GIF's link, and click "Insert".3) Google Drive: Select "Drive", find your GIF, and insert it.

  4. Resize and move the GIF as needed on the slide.

  5. The GIF will animate automatically when you enter Present mode.
