How to Add a Border on Google Slides

Add a border in Google Slides to highlight text, images, or shapes. Learn how to customize border color, thickness, and style for a polished look.

  1. Open your Google Slides presentation.

  2. Click on the shape, text box, or image you want to add a border to.

  3. In the toolbar, click the "Border color" icon (pencil symbol).

  4. Select a color for the border.

  5. Click the "Border weight" icon to adjust the thickness.

  6. Optionally, click the "Border dash" icon to change the style.

  7. Click outside the object to apply the changes.
