How to Add Superscript in Google Docs
Learn how to insert superscript text in Google Docs to enhance your documents. This formatting technique is useful for footnotes, mathematical expressions, and scientific notations.
Open your Google Docs document and highlight the text that you want to format as superscript.
Click on the "Format" menu at the top, then choose "Text" and select "Superscript" from the dropdown.
The selected text will appear smaller and positioned slightly above the normal text line, indicating superscript formatting.
To remove superscript formatting, repeat the process or use the keyboard shortcut
Ctrl + .(Windows) orCmd + .(Mac).You can also change superscript to subscript using the same menu.
