How to Timestamp YouTube

  1. Navigate to the YouTube video in your browser and pause it at the exact moment you want to timestamp.

  2. Click the 'Share' button below the video and check the 'Start at' box in the sharing options popup.

  3. Verify that the timestamp matches the paused moment, then copy the generated link containing the timestamp.

  4. Share the link with others, and when clicked, it will take viewers directly to the specified point in the video.

  5. You can manually edit the timestamp in the URL if needed by changing the time value in the format (e.g., t=120 for 2 minutes).
