If you are pricing a screen recorder rather than a demo builder, start there. How much does Loom cost?.
For AI video from a script rather than from a captured product. How much does Synthesia cost?.
Arcade appears there as the interactive demo option. Best Loom alternatives.
The short answer
Arcade, the interactive demo and AI video tool at arcade.software, prices those two products separately, on two pricing pages. Interactive demos cost nothing on Free, $50 per seat per month on Growth, and a custom quote on Enterprise; annual billing takes Growth to $42.50 per seat per month. AI video costs nothing on Free, $59 a month on Pro for up to 10 people ($49 a month billed annually), and a custom quote on Enterprise. All figures are from Arcade's own pricing pages, checked October 26, 2026. If you are pricing a games arcade, this is the wrong page.
Free is $0
On the demo plan: one seat, one published demo at a time, and the Arcade watermark stays on. You can make as many demos as you like; you can publish one. On the AI video plan: one seat, 250 credits one time that never refresh, videos up to 30 seconds, and a watermark.
Growth is $50 per seat per month
For interactive demos: unlimited published demos, the watermark removed, MP4 and GIF export, branching, forms and calls to action, insights, and a shared workspace. The compare table lists Growth for up to 10 users. It includes no AI video credits.
Pro is $59 a month for AI video
Up to 10 people share 1,000 credits a month, with videos up to five minutes, 4K export, and no watermark. Billed annually it is $49 a month. More credits cost more: 2,500 a month, the level Arcade marks most popular, is $139 a month or $119 billed annually.
The credits decide the real price
Credits pay for AI video. A one-minute video costs 150 credits on Arcade's default model, and each AI edit after that costs 75 more. So Pro's 1,000 credits a month are about six one-minute videos before any AI edits, shared by everyone in the workspace. If AI video is the reason you are buying Arcade, the credit level is the number to read, not the plan price.
Disclosure. This page is published by Layerpath. Arcade and Layerpath cost the same per creator up to three seats and Layerpath costs more from four. Layerpath appears here only where the job changes from a marketing demo or AI video to software guidance that has to stay current, and the page states plainly where Arcade is the better buy.
What each Arcade plan includes
Arcade sells interactive demos and AI video as separate subscriptions. A demo plan does not include AI video credits, and a video plan does not include the paid demo features. On the demo plans, Arcade prices the seat, and the seat is the person who builds. Anyone can watch.
| Demo plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 seat, 1 published demo, unlimited views. Chrome extension, desktop app for Mac and Windows, Figma plugin, hotspots and callouts, chapters, AI copy, AI voiceover, camera recording, share by link, embed, one brand kit. Watermark on. No MP4 or GIF export, no insights, no branching, no forms. |
| Growth | $50 per seat / month ($42.50 yearly) | Unlimited published demos, watermark removed, custom branding and landing page, MP4 and GIF export, step-by-step guides, branching, forms and calls to action, variables, AI translation, blur, autoplay, pan and zoom, video editing, basic and advanced insights, integrations, shared workspace, one brand kit. Listed for up to 10 users. No AI video credits. |
| Enterprise | Custom | Everything above plus up to 10 brand kits, role-based access, multiple teams, HTML capture, API, custom share links and domains, collections, offline access, version history, SSO, custom fonts, Salesforce integration, data export, security reviews, dedicated success manager. |
The AI video plans, from arcade.software/pricing, are priced per workspace rather than per seat. Everyone in the workspace spends from one credit balance.
| Video plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 seat, 250 credits one time that do not refresh, videos up to 30 seconds, 1080p export, one brand kit. Watermark on. |
| Pro | $59 / month ($49 billed annually), at 1,000 credits a month | Up to 10 people, videos up to 5 minutes, 4K export, no watermark, one brand kit. More credits: 1,500 a month for $89 ($73 billed annually), 2,500 for $139 ($119), 5,000 for $269 ($239), 10,000 for $499 ($469). |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom credits granted at the start of the term, seats set by contract for teams above 10, multiple projects and brand kits, SSO, role-based access, security review, dedicated success manager. |
Two lines matter more than the feature count. Demo export starts at Growth, so a demo that has to leave Arcade as an MP4 or GIF file starts at $50 a seat. And Free on either product, one published demo or 250 credits that never refresh, is enough to evaluate the tool and not enough to run a library on.
What an Arcade team actually pays
On the demo plans, per-seat pricing means the total is the number of people building, times $50.
| People building | Growth at $50, monthly | Growth at $42.50, yearly | Yearly total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $50 / month | $42.50 / month | $510 |
| 3 | $150 / month | $127.50 / month | $1,530 |
| 5 | $250 / month | $212.50 / month | $2,550 |
| 10 | $500 / month | $425 / month | $5,100 |
| 25 | Above Growth's listed 10 users; Enterprise, custom | Custom | Custom |
One detail is unclear on the page itself. The compare table lists Growth for "up to 10" users, while the FAQ says seats can be added from Billing at $50 a month without stating a ceiling. Treat 10 as the published limit and ask before you plan on more.
AI video is priced the other way round. Pro is one price for a workspace of up to 10 people: $59 a month, or $49 a month billed annually, which is $588 a year, at 1,000 credits a month. A team that wants both buys both, so five demo builders on Growth plus Pro at its first credit level is $309 a month on monthly billing.
Costs the pricing page does not show
Five of them, and the last is the one worth the most.
Enterprise has no published price, seat minimum, or contract length. Both pricing pages say "Let's talk".
Demos and AI video are two bills. Neither set of plan cards says so; the FAQ on the AI video page does. A Growth seat includes no AI video credits and Pro includes none of the paid demo features, so a team that wants both pays for both.
The per-video estimate leaves out AI edits. Arcade's calculator prices a one-minute video at 150 credits on the default model, with a footnote that AI edits are not included. Each AI edit costs 30 to 75 credits depending on the model, so a one-minute video revised four times by AI on the default model costs 450 credits, not 150.
Dropping back to Free locks editing. The demo pricing FAQ says a workspace that unsubscribes keeps its content but loses premium features, insights, and the ability to edit more than three demos.
Re-recording. An Arcade demo is a capture of the product on the day it was made. When the product ships a change, the demo shows the old screens until someone captures it again. Nothing on the pricing page charges for this. A team pays it in hours.
Where Layerpath fits, and where it costs more
Arcade Growth and Layerpath Pro cost the same per creator, $50, up to three creators. From four creators Layerpath costs more. We publish that first because a reader can check it in one click.
Layerpath prices the creator, the person who makes and edits projects, and viewers are free, the same shape as Arcade's demo seat. Arcade's AI video plan is priced per workspace and is left out of this table.
| Creators / seats | Arcade Growth | Layerpath |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | $50 | $50, Pro |
| 3 | $150 | $150, Pro |
| 5 | $250 | $500, Team |
| 10 | $500 | $750, Team |
| 14 | Above the listed 10 users; Enterprise, custom | $950, Team |
Layerpath Pro is $50 per creator per month or $500 per year, with one creator included and up to two more at $50 each; Team is $500 per month or $5,000 per year for five creators, supporting four to fourteen; Enterprise starts at $10,000 per year. Annual billing is two months free. There are no separate AI credits to buy on any Layerpath plan. Source: layerpath.com/pricing, checked September 11, 2026.
The step that surprises people is the fourth creator: three creators cost $150 on either tool, and a fourth takes Layerpath to Team at $500 while Arcade adds one seat for $50. If you are a four-person team, that is the biggest number on this page and worth a conversation rather than a credit card.
The comparison that is not seat price
Both pricing pages price a seat. Neither prices the work that seat has to redo.
An Arcade Growth seat buys an interactive demo made from a capture of the product, and Arcade's separate Pro plan buys AI-generated product video. The demo is built for the moment a prospect or a visitor meets the product for the first time. When the interface changes, the demo keeps showing the old interface until someone captures it again.
Layerpath's price buys a source you keep. You capture a workflow once, and that one project becomes an interactive tour, a step-by-step guide, and a narrated video. When the product changes, you edit the step that changed. The tour and the guide use the same steps, and you generate a new video export when you need an updated video. The AI video is generated from the captured product, not from a script, and it does not draw down a credit balance.
So the honest unit of comparison is not the seat. It is the walkthrough you have to keep accurate. Three questions decide it:
How many product walkthroughs does your team maintain right now?
How many did you recapture in the last six months because the interface moved?
Is the audience meeting the product for the first time, or learning to use it?
If the answers are "a handful", "none", and "first time", Arcade at $50 is the right purchase. If the library is large, recaptures are routine, and the audience is customers or staff who already use the product, the seat price is no longer the number that decides this.
When Arcade is the right answer
Often, and plainly.
Choose Arcade when the demo is for marketing or sales: a product tour on the website, an embed in a launch post, or a clickable walkthrough in an outbound email. Arcade's branching, forms, calls to action, and insights are built for that funnel, its Figma plugin fits a design-led team, and at one to three seats Growth costs exactly what Layerpath does while doing that job better.
Choose Arcade's Pro plan when you want AI-generated product videos. It is $59 a month, or $49 billed annually, for up to 10 people sharing 1,000 credits, about six one-minute videos a month on the default model. Layerpath does not sell AI credits at all, which is simpler but also means its video is only ever the captured product with narration.
What the rest of the category costs
Arcade is not the only tool a buyer at this price weighs. Cheapest paid plan on each vendor's own pricing page, monthly billing unless marked:
| Tool | Cheapest paid plan | Monthly price | Unit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scribe | Pro Team | $17 | per seat, 5-seat minimum ($85 floor) |
| Loom | Business | $18 | per user |
| Synthesia | Starter | $19 | 1 editor |
| Tango | Pro | $20 at 3+ users, $26 at 1–2 | per user |
| Guidde | Pro | $29 | per creator (Business $59) |
| HeyGen | Creator | $29 | 1 seat |
| Clueso | Solo | $40, billed yearly | flat; monthly rate not shown |
| Trupeer | Pro | $49 | flat, 1 seat |
| Arcade | Growth (demos) | $50 | per seat, listed for up to 10 |
| Supademo | Scale | $50 | per creator |
| Layerpath | Pro | $50 | per creator, up to 3 |
Read the shape rather than the rows. The tools in the teens capture and share something. The tools around $50 build something and then maintain it. Decide which job you are buying before you compare a $18 tool with a $50 one.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Arcade cost per month?
For interactive demos, $50 per seat per month on Growth, or $42.50 per seat billed yearly. For AI video, $59 a month on Pro, or $49 a month billed annually, for up to 10 people and 1,000 credits a month. Free is $0 and Enterprise is a custom quote on both. Prices as of October 26, 2026.
Is Arcade free?
Yes, on both products. The demo Free plan is one seat, one published demo at a time, and the Arcade watermark on everything you publish. The AI video Free plan is one seat, 250 credits one time, videos up to 30 seconds, and a watermark.
How much is Arcade for a team of 10?
For demos, $500 a month on Growth with monthly billing, or $425 a month billed yearly, which is $5,100 a year. Ten is the number of users the compare table lists for Growth; a larger team is pointed to Enterprise. For AI video, one Pro plan covers all 10 people: $59 a month, or $588 a year billed annually, at 1,000 shared credits a month.
What are Arcade credits and how many do I need?
Credits pay for AI video on Arcade's AI video plans; the demo plans no longer list a credit allowance. A one-minute video costs 90, 120, or 150 credits depending on the model, with the highest-quality model as the default, and each AI edit costs 30 to 75 more. Changes you make by hand, publishing, and export are free. Pro's 1,000 credits a month are about six one-minute videos on the default model before edits. On monthly billing unused credits do not roll over; on annual billing they carry over until the term renews. Arcade does not sell one-off credit packs, so when the balance runs out you move up a credit level or wait for the next billing date.
Does Arcade have a free trial?
Neither pricing page offers a timed trial. The Free plans are the trial. Companies before their Series A can ask for a startup discount on Growth.
Is Layerpath cheaper than Arcade?
No. Up to three creators, Layerpath and Arcade Growth cost the same, $50 per creator per month. From four creators Layerpath moves to Team at $500 a month and costs more than Arcade Growth until Growth's own 10-user limit. The case for Layerpath is what the seat produces and maintains, a tour, a guide, and a video from one source that you update by editing a step, not what it costs.
Can I bring an Arcade demo into Layerpath?
Not as a file. Layerpath starts from a screen recording, screenshots, or a Loom link and produces an editable project from that. If your Arcade demo was made from a recording you still have, that recording is the starting material.
Methodology and sources
Prices change, so every figure on this page carries a date. Where a number here disagrees with a vendor's own pricing page, the vendor's page is correct.
Arcade interactive demo plans, seat limits, and FAQ answers: arcade.software/pricing-interactive-demos, checked October 26, 2026. The yearly Growth rate of $42.50 is the value the page's billing toggle renders; the page labels the discount 15%.
Arcade AI video plans, credit levels, credit costs, and FAQ answers: arcade.software/pricing, checked October 26, 2026. Pro's $59 is the monthly-billing price and $49 the annually billed price at the 1,000-credit level, the two values the page's billing toggle renders. The same page states that demo and AI video subscriptions are sold separately.
Credit arithmetic (about six one-minute videos from 1,000 credits, 450 credits for a video with four AI edits) uses the rates for the model the AI video pricing page names as the default.
Layerpath plans: layerpath.com/pricing, checked September 11, 2026.
All other vendors in the category table: each vendor's own pricing page, checked September 11, 2026. Clueso displays only a yearly-billed rate.
Team totals are arithmetic on the per-seat rates shown; no discount is assumed beyond what each vendor advertises.
Vendor pricing and capabilities change. Everything above was checked on October 26, 2026 for Arcade; September 11, 2026 for other vendors and should be re-checked before this page is treated as current.

Demos go stale when the product ships.
Capture a workflow once, then update the step that changed. The tour and guide share those steps; export a new video when you need one.
