  2. Install Figma Font Helper (for Local Fonts)

    • Go to figma.com/downloads.

    • Download and install the Figma Font Helper app on your computer.

  3. Restart Figma Desktop App – If you're using the desktop app, restart it after installing Font Helper. If you're using the browser, make sure Font Helper is running in the background.

  4. Access Local Fonts – Now when you select text in Figma, your system-installed fonts will also appear in the font dropdown list.

  5. Add New Fonts to Your System

    • Download fonts (like .ttf or .otf) from websites such as Google Fonts, DaFont, etc.

    • Install them on your operating system (right-click → install on Windows or double-click → install on Mac).

  6. Refresh Figma – Restart Figma or refresh your browser tab to make sure new fonts load properly.

  7. Done – Your new fonts are now available in Figma and ready to use in your designs.
