How to Download Figma File

This guide provides a step-by-step process on how to download a Figma file. Follow these simple steps to easily export your design files from Figma.

1. Open Your Figma File – Navigate to the file you want to download.

2. Click on the Figma Logo (Top Left) – This opens the main menu.

3. Hover over “File” – A submenu will appear.

4. Select “Save local copy…” or “Download as .fig” – This lets you download the editable Figma file.

5. Choose Location – Your browser will prompt you to choose a save location.

6. Confirm Download – Click save to download the .fig file to your computer.

7. Done – You can now import this file into another Figma workspace if needed.
