How To Hide A Slide In Google Slides

Hide slides in Google Slides without deleting them. Learn how to keep slides for reference while presenting only what matters.

  1. Open your Google Slides presentation.

  2. In the left panel, find the slide you want to hide.

  3. Right-click on the slide thumbnail.

  4. Select "Skip slide" from the dropdown menu.

  5. A crossed-out eye icon will appear on the slide, indicating it is hidden.

  6. When presenting, the skipped slide will be bypassed and won’t appear in the slideshow.

  7. To unhide the slide, right-click it again and select "Unskip slide".
