How to Print From Figma

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to print your designs directly from Figma. Follow these simple steps to export your designs and prepare them for printing.

  1. Open Your Design in Figma – Navigate to the file you want to print.

  2. Select the Frame or Artboard – Click on the specific frame you want to print. Only selected content will be exported.

  3. Go to File Menu – Click the Figma logo (top-left) to open the dropdown.

  4. Click on "Export" – Scroll down and choose Export to open export options in the right-hand panel.

  5. Choose Format (PDF or PNG) – Select PDF for multi-page printing or PNG for images. Set scale, resolution, and background as needed.

  6. Click “Export” – Save the file to your computer.

  7. Open and Print – Open the exported file using a PDF viewer or image viewer and hit Ctrl+P / Cmd+P to print.

  8. Done – Your design is now printed exactly as exported.
