How to Turn Off Grid in Figma

Follow these step-by-step instructions to turn off the layout grid in Figma. This guide is designed to help you quickly navigate through the process without any confusion.

  1. Open Your Figma File – Launch Figma and open the design file where you want to hide the grid.

  2. Select the Frame – Click on the frame that has the grid applied.

  3. Go to Layout Grid Section – On the right-hand panel, scroll down to find the Layout grid settings.

  4. Click the Eye Icon – To temporarily hide the grid, click the eye icon next to “Layout grid”.

  5. Delete the Grid (Optional) – To remove it completely, click on the grid settings and then click the trash/bin icon.

  6. Done – The grid is now hidden or removed from your selected frame.
