How to Change Name on Zoom
This guide provides a detailed step-by-step walkthrough on how to change your name on Zoom. Follow each step carefully to successfully update your Zoom profile name.
Open Zoom App or Website – Sign in at zoom.us or open the Zoom Desktop/Mobile App.
Go to Profile (Website) – If you're on the browser, click your profile picture (top-right) → Select “Profile” from the menu.
Click “Edit” Next to Your Name – On your profile page, click “Edit” next to your name.
Enter New Name – Change your First Name and Last Name as you like.
Click “Save Changes” – Your Zoom display name is now updated for all future meetings.
Change Name During Meeting (Desktop):
Click “Participants”
Hover over your name → Click “More” > “Rename”
Enter the new name → Click “OK”
On Mobile (iOS/Android):
Tap “Participants” > Your Name > Rename
Enter the new name and tap “Done”
Done – Your name is now updated and visible to everyone in the meeting or on your profile.
