How to Unlock a Zoom Account

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to unlock your Zoom account. Follow these steps carefully to reset your password and regain access to your account.

  1. Go to the Zoom Website – Open your browser and visit zoom.us, then click “Sign In.”

  2. Try to Log In – Enter your Zoom account email and password. If it's locked, you’ll see a message saying your account is temporarily locked due to multiple failed login attempts.

  3. Wait 30 Minutes (If Temporary Lock) – If it's a temporary lock, Zoom will automatically unlock your account after 30 minutes.

  4. Reset Password (If You Forgot) – Click “Forgot Password?” on the login screen and enter your registered email.

  5. Check Your Email – Zoom will send a password reset link to your inbox. Click it within 24 hours.

  6. Create New Password – Follow the link and enter a strong new password, then confirm to update it.

  7. Log In with New Password – Go back to zoom.us or the app and log in with your updated credentials.

  8. Still Locked? Contact Zoom Support – If your account is still locked after trying all above, go to Zoom Support and submit a support ticket for help.
